MY BACKGROUND:
Born and raised in Sweden, I was the only child of hard-working and caring parents, to whom I am forever grateful. After high school, I embarked on an exciting and successful fashion modeling career in Paris, France. I married in France, raised one beautiful daughter, and spent a total of 20 years living in Paris. In 1980, I moved with my husband to Los Angeles to expand the family company's commercial real estate business and later to direct activities for the French Olympic Committee. I have continued to reside on the West Side for 25 years, and I have been with Coldwell Banker for the last 15 years. Needless to say, I am fluent in Swedish, French and English.
MY BUSINESS PHILOSOPHY & APPROACH:
I have seen many changes in Southern California residential real estate during the last 15 years. We have had ups and downs in the market and especially lately, we benefit from new technology surrounding market data and property promotion over the Internet. But my experience also confirms that what has not changed is the need for me to constantly listen to my clients needs and wishes and then to be creative, resourceful and most of all persistent in satisfying them. There is no substitute for good old hard work, whether it is scanning computer databases, manning the phones, or putting in the leg work required for showings, open houses and the like. I am most successful when I couple my long-held work ethic with the newest available tools. One of my favorite quotes is. "Where there's a will, there's a way." Well, I certainly have the will, and fortunately today, more than ever, there are plenty of ways available - so this is an exciting time for my clients and me. In the end, all the hard work, tough negotiating, and constant crossing of the t's and dotting of i's pays off; I am most satisfied when one of my clients says "thank you" and walks away happy and smiling.
